A personal letter from Sister Joseph Therese and the Our Lady of America Center in Fostoria, Ohio

Today, January 6, 2008 is the Epiphany of the Lord and we remember the wise men who brought the precious gifts of God, Frankincense and Myrrh to the Holy Family.  No finer gifts could be found to honor the God made man, the Word Incarnate, the Savior of the world.  With love and mercy did He come to show us the way to eternity, a road He will pave with His own most precious blood.

It is a most generous God who has given us His precious Son and who delights in each of His own creation as he eagerly awaits each of us returning home to Him one day.  In the meanwhile, we are each of us on a journey, a personal path which will lead us toward our eternal home.  To help guide us the Father has allowed His most Holy Spirit, the paraclete and comforter of souls, to remain with us as the true presence of God.  This Most Holy Spirit, who is eternally united with the Father and the Son, dwells within all men of good will guiding them and providing them with wisdom as they are the faithful who honor His Holy Trinity.

It is in the home, within the sacred bonds of the family, in the souls of the Father, Mother and child, that the Holy Trinity wishes to make its home among men.  Through love and purity dwelling within the family structure, the Most Holy Trinity wants to bring peace into this world.

Heaven gave this message of peace to our nation and heaven summons us to honor devotion to The Indwelling of the Most Holy Trinity through Our Lady of America’s messages as revealed to Sister Mildred Neuzil.

As caretakers of the messages given by Our Lady of America to Sister Mildred Neuzil, it is our sacred duty to keep the gifts of these messages authentic and pure.  There must be no deviation from the approved and sanctioned writings of Sister Mildred Neuzil which have been given canonical approval by Archbishop Paul Francis Leibold† and currently receive great support by many bishops in the United States.

Unfortunately, on this beautiful Feast Day of the Epiphany, there are a scant few, who are by active means, trying to wrestle away control of  devotion to Our Lady of America and of Sister Mildred’s writings.  I want for the faithful to know that the ONLY authentic source of information about Our Lady of America or the writings of Sister Mildred Neuzil come from the Our Lady of the Nativity Convent and the Our Lady of America Center in Fostoria, Ohio. No other internet website or group has the legal or moral authority to disseminate information or promote devotion.

It was the wish of Sister Mildred and Archbishop Liebold†  that we at the Our Lady of America Center in Fostoria  be entrusted with care of these messages so that authenticity could be maintained and guarded.  Any other promotional sources offend the guidance of Archbishop Liebold.

Archbishop Liebold†  in his wisdom compiled the writings of Sister Mildred Neuzil without mentioning her name, community, or specified any distinct place among Sister’s many missions in different dioceses.  It is through his honorable and care-filled discretion for the hidden and cloistered contemplative life of Sister Mildred that the Archbishop had so prudently left a legacy which allowed for our small remaining community to continue hidden in the Heart of Our Savior.   We beg Him, with love of His Most Precious Blood, that He will purify the hearts of men “to further the cause of faith and purity among peoples and nations.” Pg. 11 Sister Mildred’s Diary

At the Our Lady of America Center and Our Lady of the Nativity Convent we continue to actively promote devotion to Our Lady of America, her message, the messages of Our Lord, Saint Joseph and the Archangels as we have done for over 50 years.  We also continue our apostolate to teach about the Indwelling of the Most Holy Trinity.  We continue to follow the foresight and beloved advice from Archbishop Paul Francis Leibold† who warned against allowing high pressure from outside sources to persuade devotion to Our Lady of America.  Instead, we will continue to allow this devotion to spread along side the guidance of the Most Holy Spirit where it will grow deep roots and not be a passing fancy.

On this blessed feast day, and through the Indwelling of the Most Holy Trinity and the Pure Heart of Our Lady of America, I am yours most sincerely,
